Our home was built in 1980 and had a typical yard relative to that era (plain and simple).

Its time now to do something more so I built a new attached garage onto the house. In order to do so it required a complete excavation of the front yard.

After completing the addition, I was in dire need of a new landscaped lawn, a walk way, and steps leading up to the front door and entrance area.

At the same time while building the addition I was doing custom glass railing works on a nearby large acreage where I saw firsthand the remarkable landscape artistry done by Creative Landscapes.

I was so impressed with how they were able to turn such a sandy dusty pitted yard into a lush green oasis filled with a beautiful array of colours.

With seeing this landscape transformation, I had to have them do their magic at my place.

Even though they were already booked solid for the season they still were able to fit me in.

Their first visit entailed a consultation filled with incredible ideas as how to best customize the landscape using an array of plants, shrubs and flowers to suit the spring, summer and well into autumn too.

A plan was drafted and it exceeded my expectations. I thought the layout on paper looked great but seeing their work unfold before me was spectacular.

Their attention to detail throughout each step of the landscape development was executed with precision and was far beyond my expectations.

They were able to transform the rectangular shaped front yard and shape it into a maze of paving stone walkways and curved raised flower beds enclosed with cultured stone block walls complemented with large odd shaped boulders. To complete the essence of the entrance area they removed the old cement steps and built up the landscape to receive a muti step grade of paving stones braced into place with heavy duty timbers.

The lawn area leading up to the walk way was totally reshaped and new rich soil was placed before laying a lush green sodded lawn.

Now that the project is completed, I stand back in awe with a thousand wow’s rolling as I gaze at the newly created landscape making our home our own oasis.

We are constantly receiving compliments by people passing by and I’m elated knowing that the team at Creative Landscapes made our ugly duckling of a yard into a beautiful Swan.

New house, new yard and at a loss to know where to start. Lisa-Creative Landscape to our rescue.

Lisa met us in fall to look at our yard and presented us with a complete plan to scale, flowerbeds, shrubs, annuals with names and descriptions. She also offered prices for Creative Landscape to do it or advise on doing it ourselves. The package comes with complete details and layout and preparations to scale.
